Double Dhamaal Gives Mumbai A Casino Teaser

An important part of Inder Kumar's 'Double Dhamaal' headlining Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Kangana Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat was filmed using a casino set modeled on some of the best casinos in the world, built in Mumbai at a whopping cost of Rs1.5 crore.

The film required a Casino's backdrop for parts of its climax and Mallika sherawat's much anticipated item song Jalebi bai, which is scored by Anand Raj Anand and choreographed by Ganesh Acharya.

The director and co-producer Indra Kumar didn't just build a huge, lavish set in Mehboob Studios, Bandra, he looked into every minute detail to make sure it appeared opulent and life-like.

Kumar had to go for this extravaganza as no casinos would allow him to shoot inside for the entire day.

The casino set is not the only novelty in the film; an item girl entertaining gamblers is also unheard of!

The set was designed by art director Tanushree Sarkar and it took two weeks to build.

Insiders from the set reveal that the set looked very authentic complete with real roulette and poker tables along with slot machines!

Major parts of the film were shot in Hongkong, Macau and Mauritius.

The film is due in theaters on June 24.
